Wake Up Call Message on Loving & Praying for our Enemies
Wake Up Call: Loving & Praying for Our Enemies
Topic: Loving & Praying for Our Enemies
"Since the time of John the Baptist the kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." (Matthew 11:12)
Introduction
This is the bitter truth of following Christ. The world hates righteous order, godly acts, and holy judgments. Not because believers lack strength, but because we allow money to master us instead of mastering it. Money has become our idol, and love has become a stranger.
The Problem
In Kenya, and across the world, young generations are suffering, some even dying, fighting for limited space and scarce opportunities. Many are being pushed into conflict and despair by the very systems meant to guide and protect them.
The Challenge
Without spiritual foundations from the altar, family, and work platforms, forgiveness and divine consultation have become mysteries. Yet God never leaves Himself without a witness. His remnants remain.
The Solution
These remnants have a vital role in restoring lost glory. It begins with rebuilding personal and societal values:
- Ability
- Legality
- Viability
- Accountability
- Productivity
- Liability
- Sustainability
This is achieved through:
- Repentance – on personal matters
- Forgiveness – on private matters
- Confession – on public matters
Scripture Reference
"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal." (1 Corinthians 13:1-13)
The Wake Up Call
Let love become our common grace. If we embrace it, we can bridge the three great gaps in society:
- Social Protection
- Sustainable Development
- Shared Prosperity
But this can only happen if we learn to love and pray for all – including our enemies – as Jesus taught.
