Wake Up Call Message on The Passover Time
Wake Up Call Message
Topic: The Passover Time
Scripture Reference: Exodus Chapters 7–12
🔥 Introduction
We are living in a generation where many are trapped in systems of harsh labour, injustice, and spiritual oppression — modern-day Egypts ruled by bad governance, poverty, confusion, and fear. Just like the children of Israel, we cry out for deliverance.
But take heart! Freedom is here — not by our might, but through the power of God. As we pass through the plagues of our time — pandemics, corruption, economic crises, identity confusion — God is preparing a way out. It is Passover Time.
⚠️ The Problem: Spiritual Disobedience
The reason for our current bondage is not foreign nations or external enemies alone. It began when we failed to walk in God’s will.
"But they did not obey or incline their ear, but followed the counsels and the dictates of their evil hearts..." – Jeremiah 7:24
Our rebellion against divine order led us into captivity — economic, emotional, and spiritual. Just like Israel, who became slaves in Egypt, we too are held hostage by modern pharaohs:
- Systems of injustice
- Idols of self, power, and money
- Cultures that reject God’s commandments
This is spiritual captivity, and many live in foreign lands of doubt, fear, sin, and shame.
🧭 The Challenge: Following Spiritual Instructions
Deliverance is not automatic — it requires faith, obedience, and alignment. God raised Moses as a prophetic leader with a divine message:
“Let my people go, so that they may worship me.” – Exodus 9:1
The same applies today. To enter into our Independence Day — our spiritual Jubilee — we must:
- ✅ Believe that Christ is our Passover Lamb
- ✅ Follow God’s commands and timing
- ✅ Recognize true spiritual leadership
- ✅ Obey the Word — even when uncomfortable
✝️ The Passover Message
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ fulfilled the ultimate Passover:
"For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed." – 1 Corinthians 5:7
We must believe that:
- Christ died to set us free from bondage
- We are free to worship, work, and walk in wisdom
- We must pass over from sin to righteousness, from slavery to sonship
The blood on the doorposts in Exodus saved Israel from death. Today, it is the blood of Jesus on our hearts that marks us for divine protection and purpose.
🛡 The Solution: God-Fearing Commitment
To prepare for our own Passover experience:
- 🙏 Pray for direction and strength
- 📖 Read the Word for instruction and truth
- 🤝 Do good deeds as a witness of faith
- 👣 Follow leaders who walk in God’s ways
We must walk through this wilderness season led by truth, not trends.
🎯 Call to Action: Plunder Your Oppressors
Before Israel left Egypt, they took silver, gold, and fine clothing — not through war, but through favor from God (Exodus 12:35–36).
This is not a call to physical plundering, but to spiritually and socially reclaim:
- Your identity
- Your gifts
- Your opportunities
- Your voice in society
Let God fight your battles, while you prepare to step into the promised land.
🌅 Conclusion: Your Passover Is Now
This is your Passover time.
You are not born for slavery. You are chosen for worship, equipped for victory, and destined for the Promised Land.
“Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today.” – Exodus 14:13
Let us prepare our hearts, align with His Word, and walk in obedience — for the Lord is passing through, and freedom is here.
