Wake Up Call Message on Foundation Principles
📖 WAKE UP CALL: Daily Good News Message
TOPIC: FOUNDATION PRINCIPLES – YOU MUST D.I.G TO BUILD
INTRODUCTION: Building with God
"As co-workers in God’s service… you are God’s field, God’s building" (1 Corinthians 3:9).
This powerful truth reminds us that our lives are not random constructions — they are sacred projects. But every building must begin with two critical things: the ground and the foundation.
- Ground: Formed in childhood — early life lessons, examples, and experiences.
- Foundation: Set in adulthood — values, practices, and daily commitments.
Both must be carefully prepared, or the building risks collapse.
PROBLEM: Building on Unstable Ground
Many people today are struggling with emotional instability and mental confusion — and these, if not healed, create cracks in the spiritual foundation.
A weak start can hinder spiritual growth and even physical progress. We cannot afford to ignore our inner state — our ground must be stable, and our foundation must be sure.
CHALLENGE: Lack of Prior Information and Investigation
The reason many fall short is this: no preparation, no vision, no plan.
Without purpose, there’s no direction. Without direction, there’s no destination.
When we fail to D.I.G before building, we set ourselves up for failure:
- No Dream leads to confusion.
- No Information leads to ignorance.
- No Godliness leads to self-destruction.
SOLUTION: You Must D.I.G to Build
Let’s D.I.G:
- D for Dream & Development – What do you see? What are you willing to grow into?
- I for Information & Inventory – What do you know? What do you have in your spiritual storehouse?
- G for Godliness & Goodness – How do you live? Are you reflecting heaven here on earth?
How do we D.I.G God’s way? Let’s turn to the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7):
- Matthew 5 – Vision Keynotes: “Blessed are the poor in spirit…” – Sets a vision for the kind of life God rewards.
- Matthew 6 – Mission Keynotes: “Seek first the kingdom…” – Teaches how to live within God’s will.
- Matthew 7 – Objective Keynotes: “The wise man built his house on the rock.” – Emphasizes setting a firm foundation.
CALL TO ACTION
- Don’t just start life — build it wisely.
- Don’t just hear the Word — do it.
- Don’t just dream — develop.
- Don’t just know — act with goodness and godliness.
Foundation Principles are not optional — they are eternal. D.I.G now so you can build forever.
